1. The SOPA/PIPA act will block internet rights and freedoms by having the government censoring the internet similar to how its currently in China.

2. Internet companies would monitor users activities online including what you post on social media, videos, pictures, links to websites etc. "That’s why AOL, eBay, Facebook, Google, IAC, LinkedIn, Mozilla, Twitter, Yahoo, and Zynga wrote a letter to Congress saying these bills “pose a serious risk to our industry’s continued track record of innovation and job-creation.” (Google 2012 https://www.google.com/landing/takeaction/sopa-pipa/)

3. It WON'T stop piracy. These censorship regulations won't shut down "pirate" sites, they will just pick up and move the site to another server and start over (most websites have back up servers and information loaded on a drive online to allow the site to instantly re-publish within minutes). These websites should not be a issue of the US government we can not control these site as most of them are domestic. If they believe this is a huge concern they need to take into factor of the OPEN act. It is was rumored that during the black out last Wednesday file sharing site; Megaupload was temporary shut down in protest of this law. Other sites like Google "blacked out" for 24 hours in protest.

This would in my option, be wrong and illegal since it's pretty much violating our first amendment right of "Freedom of Speech". I don't see how they government feel that internet censorship is it "top priority" when there are so many other issues that are more important issues. President Obama already stated that he'd veto the bill and congress was in deadlock last week and due to the protesting we helped change/influence those officials who we're either against or undecided. They vote on it actually today 1/24/12.

Courage Album Review

This is my review for Frankie J's new album "Courage". First off I'd like to say this is a great album despite being gone for 5 years and it's not a major label release. I think going digital was the best way to market the album everyone puts their music on their MP3/iPod now of days anyways, I'm guilty of that fact. I think that this is the first album since "What's A Man To Do" that I can fully listen to without feeling the need to skip half the songs (not that I don't like them just when you listen to them as often as I do you get annoyed with them) I have to say that my favorite songs other than "I Had You There" and "How Beautiful You Are" are "Tears of A Clown", "What If", "My Hero Love" "If The World Would End" "Courage" and "Say I Do". That is half the album however I like those the most. My favorites that I can listen to over and over would be "Tears of A Clown", "Say I Do","My Hero Love" and "If The World Would End". There are 5 songs that are on this album that "leaked" and I heard before that's why I have a strong liking for TOAC, WI, SID (Tears of A Clown, What If and Say I Do). One song that I am frankly disappointed that's NOT on here is "The Greatest Thing" if was a track he put on MySpace a while back, I fell in love with it and I think it could be relate able to anyone and it's true to the point. I really felt that it could have been "The Song" of 2011 or 2012 since it's what we're experiencing in our world today. Frankie is a great artist hands down and his music is always amazing. This album has the classic "Frankie flair" but I think alot of these songs are slow jams/love songs than more upbeat/dance songs which is fine in my option. For his first independent release it was a home run. It is ranking high on iTunes and Amazon despite his 5 year hiatus since Frankie fans still love him, including me. I am glad he is back on the scene and I hope he achieves fame and glory. What do you think of "Courage"? Comment below and let me know your favorite songs and what you love about this album.

Okay as stated I will post here for extended updates on the site and other news and info. I have completed the lyrics section for courage and it is now published. I also updated the Episode Guide, Links, Did You Know? sections as well and posted a note on the home page. Also, I added Google Friend Connect so fans can connect as well as a +1 page.
